Salary: $63,000 - $67,000 per year

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team, specifically focusing on early intervention services. In this role, you will work closely with infants and toddlers aged 0-3 years and their families, under the supervision of Physical Therapists, to provide therapy interventions that address developmental delays or disabilities

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision and guidance of Physical Therapists

  • Providing one-on-one therapy sessions and group activities to improve gross motor skills, coordination, balance, etc.

  • Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and continuity of care.

  • Monitoring and documenting progress, whiling communicating with the PT when treatment plans need to be adjusted as necessary.

  • Assisting in the maintenance and organization of therapy materials and equipment

  • Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities


Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program from a CAPTE-accredited college or school

  • Current and valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant

  • Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric patients

  • Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and assistive devices

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy


Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license

  • Clean driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles (OMV)

  • Reliable transportation with car insurance
