We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team, focusing on early intervention services. In this role, you will work closely with children aged 0-3 years and their families to assess, diagnose, and support their developmental needs.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify individualized educational goals and areas of need
Developing and implementing Infant Development Programs (IDPs) based on assessment results and in collaboration with parents and other professionals
Providing one-on-one and group instruction to support cognitive, motor, social, and behavioral development
Incorporating evidence-based practices and instructional strategies into teaching and learning activities
Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide education, support, and home-based strategies for promoting optimal development
Monitoring and documenting progress, adjusting educational plans as necessary
Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and interdisciplinary evaluations as needed.
Education and Training Requirements:
State‐approved bachelor’s degree in special education.
Take state’s special education test and become licensed in California.
ALTERNATE REQUIREMENT ACCEPTED - B.A. in a human services field with a minimum of 12 units of Child Development courses.
ALTERNATE REQUIREMENT ACCEPTED - M.A. in Child Development.
Additional Requirements:
Valid driver's license
Clean driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles (OMV)
Reliable transportation with car insurance
